MORRISSEY HYDRAULIC CRUSH
QUIET - SAFE - EFFICIENT
The battery-powered, solar alternative that ensures silent, efficient cattle handling, regardless of location.
CHECK OUT HOW IT WORKS!
So, you want a new powered cattle crush, but you don’t have electricity in your yards?
let’s face it, a lOUD generator thundering in the background all day causes you stress as much as it does your cattle.
With everything on your plate, your cattle crush shouldn’t add to your worries.
Are you:
- A large cattle station facing the challenge of using loud generators in remote areas, causing stress for your cattle and difficulties for your team?
- A stud operation having trouble handling large bulls in your crush with inadequate vet space and a difficult catch?
- A family-run farm finding yard work slow and inefficient, despite relying on family help, because of fixed, stationary crush operations?
- A feedlot running regular inductions on animals with varying temperaments and are worried about the safety of your staff and animals?
Introducing the Morrissey Hydraulic Crush: a solar-powered, quiet crush alternative, eliminating the need for high cost, loud traditional power sources.
Being the
world's first battery powered crush, its unique design is centred around minimizing stress and improving efficiency, offering a smarter way to handle cattle, and ensuring operator and animal safety whilst reducing costs.
Experience The Difference
Stress-Free Cattle Handling
The 12-volt lithium battery powers the hydraulic unit, creating a low-noise, low-stress environment for both animals and operators.
Buy Once, Use Forever
The modular construction allows for easy part replacement. Just unbolt, replace with the corresponding part and its good as new.
Full Animal Control
The combination of the independent top and bottom squeeze, rubber head bail and neck extension control all body, neck and head movement, immobilizing the animal.
Multitasking Made Easy
With up to 20m of range, the remote-control design offers users unparalleled freedom of movement throughout the yards, reducing reliance on labour.
See what other cattle farmers are saying!
We couldn’t be happier. The crush has made our job pretty much effortless. A regular comment made by others, is how quiet it is, which definitely improves the low stress handling of cattle in the yards.
The parallel squeeze function is very useful when treating bulls that are difficult to restrain in the head bale, and also when marking calves.
Our annual rainfall is 2000mm or 80 inches per year, so as you can imagine we have quite a few wet and overcast days. In spite of this, we have never had a power failure when handling cattle for the whole day and for consecutive days.
I couldn’t guess how many thousands of cattle we have put through the crush in the past five years, only ever having to replace a battery once.

In 2001 my family started another cattle business and my priority switched to ensuring my family was safe from the dangers of working with cattle. That’s when I started building hydraulic cattle crushes.
After four years of trials, I knew we had a great product on our hands. I decided that selling the design was best and thought of the Morrissey Family first since they were well-known in the industry and were not currently manufacturing crushes.
Working with Morrissey and Co. confirmed we made the right choice. They are good at what they do and care about their staff. Not long after, they showed me plans to continue developing the crush further. I'm proud to see that they are taking what I started to new heights.
